Our Achievements (Last 3 Years)

Under the Child Development Program, various activities have been implemented in the last 3 years through the Bangladesh Children Academy Bagerhat district office. About 24 thousand children get the opportunity to participate in all these activities. Seasonal competitions are organized every year in 29 subjects starting from upazila level to national level national child award and 4 team subjects. Every year more than 6 thousand children of the district participate in this competition. About 300 children are trained annually in music, dance, fine arts and recitation. There is a rich library in the academy building for children. About 4 thousand children get the opportunity to read books in the library every year. About 5 thousand children participated in various library based competitions. Children's books published by Shishu Academy are sold at prices fixed by the government. Every year the children of Bagerhat district have achieved remarkable success in the national stage of the National Children's Award Competition and Seasonal Competition.
